First to clarify why I write this article. I have been gambling on the internet or at land based betting houses for many years. I have discovered, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to track your defeats and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you become sick in your belly and the more you try the quicker you are deprived.
When you notice that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this plan almost never ever operates. Say you’re playing on slots, have an amount set to the side prior to beginning your play. Don’t go over that boundary, no matter how alluring. If you happen to win, put that in a separate cup. Don’t risk your wins no matter what. As soon as you’ve gambled through your original set limit, stop. Head out, whether it’s on the web or at a physical betting house, don’t stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, another time.
Remember, gambling is supposed to be FUN not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t manage the cost, don’t even start.
